2 cans Nally's Chili ($1.72)
10 taco shells (Ortega $1.38)
10 hot dogs (Bar S $.88)
1/4 cup shredded cheddar cheese ($.78)
1/4 cup finely chopped onion (~$.25)
1 Heat chili.
2 Meanwhile, heat taco shells as directed on box.
3 In 10-inch nonstick skillet, cook hot dogs over medium-high heat 2 to 3 minutes, turning frequently, until browned.
4 Place hot dogs in taco shells; top each with chili, cheese and onion.
Total $5.01 for 10 tacos. For a family of 4 having 2 tacos each with 2 left over for lunch. Add Rice A Roni for $.98; still keeping it $5.
