How did you use your Albertson's Doublers?

How did you use your Albertson's Doublers? This is how I used mine:

2 packages of Hillshire little smokies $2.50, used 2 - $1/1 coupons, plus my doublers = $.50 each
1 package Maruchan noodles $1.25, used $.50 coupon
2 packages of Butterfinger Snackers $.79 each used $1/2 coupon and they gave me $.58 for the coupler because they only = $1.58, so they were both free.

Total was $1.75 and I received a coupon for free cookies and potato chips.
